Wrapping Up the Holiday Season with Santa at HollyOaks on the Marsh
As we finish up our final Christmas celebration with family in the next few days, I can’t think of a better way to close out the season than by sharing highlights from the second day of our Santa sessions at HollyOaks on the Marsh!
Yes, I know Christmas has come and gone, but the joy of the season and the magical moments captured during our sessions are worth reliving. I hope your Christmas was filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories.
The second day of Santa sessions on November 16 was filled with sweet moments that I’ll never forget. One particularly special session included a child who celebrated his birthday that very day! Santa and Mrs. Claus, of course, knew all about his big day and even sang “We Wish You a Happy Birthday” to him, making his time with them extra magical.
My own boys also came for their Santa session. My oldest, who is now 13, humored me by taking pictures with Santa, even posing for some with his little brother. It made my heart so happy to capture them together, even if he’s growing up far too quickly. My youngest son, on the other hand, wasn’t quite as thrilled. At almost 2, he decided that Santa wasn’t his favorite this year—quite the change from last year when he adored him!
That’s one of my favorite things about doing Santa sessions year after year—watching the progression of each child’s relationship with the big guy and seeing the magic these sessions create for families. I smile so much during the sessions, even more while editing, and sometimes, I’ll admit, I have to wipe away a tear or two. It’s such an honor to be the keeper of this special magic for so many kiddos.
